Robinhood Library Mission and Vision

Vision Statement
The John J. Driscoll Campus Library strives to create a 21st century environment that promotes learning for all students by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to access information, teaching information literacy skills, and encouraging lifelong learning. The library media center strives to be a center where students can be creative and grow to have an appreciation of literature, critical thinking skills, and a respect for others and self.

 

Mission Statement
The library serves the school community of P.S. 16, P.S. 74 and P.S. 10 as the center of literacy development and a space where students and others can be creators and involved in 21st century learning. It is the mission of the library to make a positive impact on our school community by providing resources and support to students, staff and other community members in order to become effective users of ideas and information and to become independent, lifelong learners.
